Who
Joeritta Jones de Almeida is one of only a few certified instructors of Open River/Rio Abierto Body Work System in the United States. She first studied Rio Abierto while living in Brazil in 1977, completed her education in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and brought the method to the United States in 1984. She has a Doctorate from Harvard Graduate School of Education and is assistant professor of Education at Wheelock College in Boston, MA (faculty profile), consultant, mother and grandmother.
